主讲简介:Hatsuo Ishida,美国凯西储大学教授。研究专长:高性能高分子及其复合材料。已发表了论文490余篇,主编出版专著12部,授权国际专利40余项,H-index为80,总引用次数超过22300次。Ishida教授现受聘于美国凯斯西储大学,系国际杂志Composite Interfaces 主编以及Polymers and Polymer composites和Frontiers: Composite Materials 的副主编,并为十余家国际杂志的编辑部顾问。

主讲内容:Benzoxazine resin is known to have the highest molecular design flexibility among all the polymers to tailor the desired properties. Despite this unparalleled potential advantage, the molecular design principles are not yet well understood. In this lecture, parameters, such as hydrogen bonding, isomeric structures, substituent effects, and many other factors will be evaluated. Both experimental and theoretical approaches, such as two-dimensional NMR and ab-initio calculation are used to understand the structure-property relationship. Based on these understandings, smart, ultra-high performance and/or easy to process benzoxazine resins are developed. Examples from the use of natural renewable resources to deep space travel applications will be introduced.
