July 13-15, 2019, there held a contest National contest among the fresh-man university level student on “5th Zeiss Metallographic and Comprehensive Material Skills”. It was sponsored by the Chinese society of stereology, Xi 'an Petroleum University, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology and Laizhou Huayin Testing Instrument Co., Ltd. In total, 322 students and 208 teachers from 83 universities across the country participated actively in the competition.

      After three days of brutal competition, students of grade 16 of metal in our school obtained excellent results. Ma Yafen and Zhang Jinshan won the special prize of the “7th Metallographic Society Cup”, Ye Lisha won the second prize in National colleges and universities Students Metallographic contest, and. Cui Shugang won the First prize in the 5th "Laizhou Huayin Testing Instrument Co., Ltd. metallographic society cup". Among teachers, Shao Honghong, Wang Andong and Wang Lan won the excellent instructor award.
