Recently, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jiangsu University was honored as the second prize and outstanding award student team projects won in "Third Creative Star Cup" by the Jiangsu Agricultural Society.

               

The competition includes live display, pre-race training and road-show nominees. The organizing committee of the competition received 50 projects recommended by Jiangsu University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Yangzhou University and other universities. After the expert's preliminary examination, 31 projects successfully entered the road-show link. The contest road-show was held in Ningju on October 26. The contestants competed fiercely through physical displays, PPT speeches and on-the-spot defenses. After the comprehensive evaluation, the final winner of the first prize 2, second prize 4, third prize 10, 15 outstanding awards, "potential star" outstanding individual 6 and excellent organizational units 3.

The students of school of Materials Science and Engineering particularly Hong Wenying and others set up the declaration of "Zhi Nong Co., Ltd." won the second prize of the entrepreneurial group, by students Shen Zhouxuan and others declared the "gossip" project won the innovation group outstanding award. Sponsored by the Jiangsu Agricultural Society, the competition aims to give full play to the role of the bridge link of the society's organization, connect the platform resources of agricultural-related colleges and universities in the province, guide, encourage and support the vast number of young scholars of agricultural-related professionals in the province, get out of the wall, strive to become "creative" and promote the transformation of agricultural science and technology innovation and achievements. The contest is divided into two groups, innovation group and entrepreneurship group, where the agricultural-related professional innovation and entrepreneurial achievements, provincial colleges and universities in school or within 2 years of graduation of college students and graduate students can participate.
