School of Materials held the Faculty Badminton Competition for the Fall 2023 semester

In order to enhance the awareness of health exercise, test the badminton training results of the faculty and staff, and enhance the vitality of the badminton team of the College, on the afternoon of December 6, the labor union of the School of Materials Science and Engineering organized the faculty and staff badminton competition of the School of Materials in the Fall semester of 2023 in the school gymnasium. Members of the faculty and staff badminton team participated in the competition.

The College always attaches importance to the physical health of the faculty and strives to create conditions for the faculty and staff to take physical exercise. All along, our school has continued to carry out regular badminton training and staged competitions for faculty and staff, and actively prepare for various badminton events in the school. The faculty competition consists of eight teams in three events: men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles. The competition is carried out in a round robin system, where each team plays against the other teams respectively and is ranked according to the number of wins and losses and net points. All the teams tried their best to pull away from each other, and the game was intense. After a fierce competition, the first to third place was finally won. Through this faculty badminton game, not only let the majority of faculty feel the care and attention of the college trade union to the faculty sports and sports activities, but also let the trade union activities truly achieve the purpose of guiding the faculty to live a healthy life and work happily, but also help the faculty to release pressure and exercise healthily.
